Went to Bentley yesterday. It's MUSIC SHOP. Big one. Like one whole floor of PARADISE. :) Victor followed me too. :) It's like near THE CURVE.

I went there because I got to get an AMP(It's about time.) And so I did + a strap, strings, a pick and cable. :)

I went to this thingy call CLIOD (College life in one day) At Taylor's. It was last Thursday. And I'm only blogging about it now I went to the DESIGN one. durh! SO...

This is one of the activity we did. They randomly split us into groups and we were

CUTTING OUT SHAPES that they gave us square, triangle, rectangle, big circle, small circle etc... AND STICKING THEM TOGETHER TO CREATE A CHARACTER THAT THEY ASKED US TO.

LIKE PFFT!

I already did that when I was in KINDERGARTEN. : )

So my group did this!

So, I'm entering this contest

It's call the CREATIVE ART AWARD 2010

It is from THE ONE ACADEMY and they sure give some really cool prizes. : ) well you can see it from the form UP there. Though I hear people saying that TOC is not that good and stuff like that but MY MOM say that GOD WILL DECIDE what will happen. : ) so I LISTENED to her. =D

I'm suppose to design the 3 UP there. The 3 comes from TOY STORY. : ) It's pretty cool. I wish I get to see the premiere of it as well if I win this. :(

And so I came out with this! : )

I purposely designed it to do nothing with TOY STORY not like about 90% of contestant that will add some TOY STORY character or something to do with TOY STORY in the design. 

So I got to be different! :D

But this is just the 'qualifying' stage. If I get in this i got to attend some ON-THE-SPOT COMPETITION which I'm kinda scared. hehe. THE PRESSURE  *screams!!!*

Plastic bottles industry are getting smarter and smarter these days.

This company urges you to “Be green” by buying their bottled water with the, no joke, laughable “Eco-slim cap”.

PICTURES THAT TELLS IT ALL

At first I thought this was done by some random guy using photoshop or something like that. But turns out it really is from a BIRD when they cut open the bird's stomach. :'( Look at the amount of plastic the bird swallowed and I'm pretty sure it doesn't taste good + easy to swallowed since its all solid. 

TURTLE! A not so happy one. :( counting the size of the plastic thingy, the turtle must had got the bottle ring thingy stuck onto his body since he was a small little cute tiny turtle. And turtle is still alive like now with that thing stuck on turtle. :'( I'm pretty sure it ain't comfortable. Imagine some plastic thing stuck to your body since you were a baby. OUCH! 

 

 I sure hope that, THAT won't be what we call leaf in the future generation.

Green

GREEN. Which the colour of the leaf on top there needs YELLOW AND BLUE. YELLOW, well it's a YELLOW flower and flowers have leafs which is GREEN. 

The leaf has 3 main requirements to survive. 

Firstly, SUNLIGHT which is like YELLOW. Without it, the leaf won't be able to carry out photosynthesis to produce food.

Secondly, WATER which is BLUE. The leaf needs water. Who doesn't need water? lol The leaf needs water to prevent itself from drying up and die.

Lastly, OXYGEN which is COLOURLESS so lets skip that because there are NO COLOUR REQUIRED.

Okay let's skip all of those crap things that I said that made me look a tiny bit smarter and back to my own erm... EXPLANATION. 

EXAMPLE 1

This is how it'll look it you tell a normal human being to go green.

Jeremy: Hey wanna go GREEN with me? I'm organizing some GREEN campaign thing this Saturday. Wanna come? I can fetch! : )

Normal human being: Erm... Err... GREEN ah? I don't think can la. Because,... HEY! WHAT's YOUR FAVOURITE COLOUR?? 

You see, normal human being changed the topic before even giving me the answer.

EXAMPLE 2

Jeremy: Hey wanna go YELLOW + BLUE with me?  I'm organizing some YELLOW + BLUE campaign this Saturday. Wanna come? I can fetch! : )

Normal human being: OH! YELLOW + BLUE! Cool name. ;) What's that? Is it that the new club they're opening near our school!!!? : )

Jeremy: NO! What do you get when you plus them up together?

Normal human being: Oh oh! I know this one. Erm... Err... GREEN ah? oh... *face reaction changed* err... LOOK! IT's A RAINBOW! *as I looked up, he quickly ran away*

DO YOU SEE THE DIFFERENCE?? 

Example 2 the normal human being actually asked about it and the conversation was much longer than example 1. Normal human being even smiled in example 2.

Means it's like Google. Same company but with black background or layout or whatever. 

Different colors consume different amounts of energy on computer monitors. Black requires the least amount of energy. 

COOL RIGHT. ;) 

The energy savings per search are small, but it has been estimated that a black Google

would save 750 Megawatts per year

Take at look at Google, who gets about 200 million queries a day. Let's assume each query is displayed for about 10 seconds; that means Google is running for about 550,000 hours every day on some desktop. Assuming that users run Google in full screen mode, the shift to a black background [on a CRT monitor! mjo] will save a total of 15 (74-59) watts. That turns into a global savings of 8.3 Megawatt-hours per day, or about 3000 Megawatt-hours a year. Now take into account that about 25 percent of the monitors in the world are CRTs, and at 10 cents a kilowatt-hour, that's $75,000, a goodly amount of energy and dollars for changing a few color codes.

long time ago

Victory that doesn't always win

HI! This is VICTOR.

Lastly, HIS BIKE! :)

This happened *counting...*  2 days ago when exam is still going on. 

Me, Victor and Nicholas were suppose to do some group studying but that happened*pointing up there at the wheel* so we didn't study at all.

Me and Nicholas didn't really saw what happened because we were turning to some other junction. 

So this is what had to Victor say:

"The road very sandy la! Then I looking behind to see you all then hit the curve at the side of the road because the road very sandy so got out of control."

RIGHT.........

We spend the whole afternoon and evening 'fixing' his bike which didn't really work. It was Victor's idea to whack the frame of the wheel back to shape. So we tried every single way to do it. 

First with a hammer. Well you get the idea but cannot. 

Then tried pushing and pulling it. EVEN WORSE. 

Last chance, stand on the frame. Nicholas and I standing at one side of the frame and Victor the other side (now you know how heavy he is). That got kinda better but still far from good.

  WE GAVE UP!

But Victor still has to cycle to school with me the next day (Yeah! going green!:) This was his spare bike. Victor's regular bicycle tire got punctured. *knocks head*  So I got to cycle that senget wheel bicycle home for him. Then reach his house cycle back my bike all the way to the bicycle shop and fix his 'regular bike'. Then came to my house bathe, do some stuff then slept for a short while then tuition.
